Dear all,
concerning packet geany-plugin-debugger I would like to know when it will
be available for Debian Buster. Do you have any plans for that?
Here I have some more details why I'm asking:
I am using a Raspberry with Raspbian release Buster and in this release
there's no packet geany-plugin-debugger available so that I can not use
Geany-IDE for debugging my C-programs. I tried to build the packet on my
own but I failed. As far as I understood for Stretch there's GTK2 in use to
build the plugins but for Buster there's GTK3 in use. Even after I had
installed the development-libraries for GTK3 the building-process for the
debugger plugin failed.
It seems to be that the shift from GTK2 to GTK3 is not an easy one. Or are
there other reasons, why the mentioned plugin is not available for Buster
(but for Stretch)?
On Github I've found a statement, that the mentioned plugin is available in
Geany 1.36:
