Yes of course!
I'm happy if we could improve the quality of the zarafa binaries at
least with our work and criticism sometimes.
There is a Debian wiki site that should help upstream projects to make
it easy to get their software into the Debian repositories, maybe you
have read this already.

The issue you named has sadly some impact as you probably need to rename
package names for your already published work too. There comes the
needing that you have to ensure that a upgrade is working well.
I'm not a big expert here, but Guido can surely answer question if they
will come.

Sound also good for me! And Rome wasn't build in one day. ;)
There are things we can already work on like the start/stops scripts and
the systemd implementation.
