yes, you are welcome!

Feel free to work on the packaging and contribution for it, I'm happy if
I can assist or do some guidance if needed.
Guido was talking on the Kopano Conference about the current state of
Kopanocore for Debian and as a side effect we also was talking about
z-push/d-push in Debian.
So I'm happy if our call for help has found some open ears and people
are willing to jump into contributing to Debian and pushing the state of
z-push further.

Surely not. ;)
I've done a little starting by migrating the existing git tree into
quilt 3.0 handling and increasing some build dependencies like bumping
debhelper and compat versions, and importing version 2.3.2. Nothing
special at all.

For further packaging work there need to be a consensus on the new
needed binary packages, that was the original intension of my first
email to the list [1].
That plan should be written into the current Wikipage for Kopano [2] in
Debian as that would be the best place. I can start a table for that.
While working on the packaging we should build some autopkg tests for
the QS of the packages.
We need also some kind of testing for the package transitions as Debian
has skipped some previous versions. I have no knowledge what things to
keep in mind to not bother users of the old packages.
