Hi,
I've was looking at the small list of Lintian issues for libvmime. Mostly
because debhelper 10 is out and version 8 is now marked as deprecated.
https://lintian.debian.org/maintainer/pkg-giraffe-maintainers@lists.alioth.debian.org.html#libvmime
The found typo in debian/rules is already fixed.
Moving from DH8 to DH10 means in the first place switching the library to
multiarch support. For this are small changes needed to mainly to
debian/rules.
This is done by the appended patchset.
But, should we do this and upload a new version -7 to unstable or should we
wait for the theoretically acception of kopanocore before 26th December as I
haven't tried to build kopanocore with the changes to the libvmime package.
Given that we only have 8 days left and there are some christmas days I
wouldn't agree on shipping kopanocore with stretch. OTOH we can also wait the 8
days and upload a new libvmime version right before th 26th to get libvmine
with multiarch support for stretch.
What do you think?
