[Pkg-giraffe-discuss] Z-push packaging progress

Hi everyone,

with the next Groupware Meeting coming up I though I'd give a quick progress
report on packaging of Z-push.

Packaging is mostly ready. I've been spending time on getting the licenses
changed of upstream Pear modules of which derivatives are used by Z-push. I
hope to get all of that merged, and the appropriate commits merged into Z-
push itself, before the next Z-push release.

I also wrote manpages for the command line tools. With those things done,
all the important lintian errors and warnings are fixed.

After the next Z-push release I can drop some of the license-related patches
from the packaging repo. Then there's some cleanup I want to do, and after
that I think I'm ready for a sponsor to look at the packages in detail.

The next beta is planned for 12.04, and the next final for 26.04, so I
expect to be ready somewhere around that time.

Cheers!

Roel
