very cool! :-)

yep, my previous comparison was against 8.4 so nothing to do here.

I checked, and apparently we wrote this ourselves. the code is in /librosie
and gets linked in when libtidy-something is installed (HAVE_TIDY). what it
does is it cleans and filters HTML mails so they are smaller and don't
contain potentially dangerous stuff.. not sure why we don't forcibly try
to use this, but I guess for debian we can always include it..?

I will go through them later in the week, and let you know. anyone else,
feel free of course to (also) have a look.

it's just a change in naming scheme. we just froze the 8.4 branch, and there
should be a first beta in the coming weeks. there _might_ be an RC1 release
for the conference, but I wouldn't count on it.. :-)

I don't see a very compelling reason to go for 8.4 at this point, so I
personally would just continue to work on 8.3.2.. :P note that there should
be a very minor 8.3.3 out within a few days.

part of why I think 8.3.x is a good choice, is that 8.4 has taken quite some
time, and will take more, so we have all these point releases for 8.3..

thanks for all your efforts so far in any case again!

cheers,
mark.
