at some point yes.
Currently I'm lacking the needed time for also preparing packages and do
a basic testing on Stretch. So it's not a thing of not wanting, it's
more a thing of the resources to do this. And we propably need some more
packages to backport as a dependency.

If you could step in and do some basic work like preparing the packaging
and some testing afterwards I will gladly do a upload to Backports if
things running well.
Roel did some small reviewing work on the existing packages I will look
into next.
