That is why I have asked (2+ weeks ago) the maintainers to test the
building and functionality of their packages.

There is a page at http://wiki.debian.org/ImageMagickTransition where I
am collecting the status of the packages.
There is only one program that has a minor problem in opening
BMP files (but it compiles perfectly). I won't say that it's a major
problem as this package (imview) supports only ImageMagick 5.x series
(and upstream already knows the problem with newer IM versions).
It seems that there aren't problems until now (9 answers; total of
packages is 30).

I would like to test the other packages on my computer, but
unfortunately I am short on Internet access here :-/
