The problem here is that we have a lot of -dbg packages on Debian, all
of them containing binaries under /usr/lib/debug/
Do we need the same README file on all of them? We will have more than
a thousand equal READMEs on the archive, explaining the same thing.
I don't think that a file explaining how to use them with gdb belongs
to imagemagick-dbg (nor any other -dbg packages).
My view is that, if necessary, the package maintainer is responsible
in helping the user to get a backtrace (by pointing how to use gdb,
install the -dbg package, etc).
Or at least an explanation in the gdb package only.
CCing debian-devel to see if we can get better opinions and solutions for this.
Best regards,
Nelson
