Upstream is using the same fonts that we used to fix #510751, so I
don't think that this is the problem.
With unstable's ImageMagick I see the same behavior.
Converting to PNG I get a perfect result; converting this PNG to GIF I
see a bad result (I think that it's something related with the GIF
format then).

I will see with upstream about this.
