Sounds great. Also could add this info too:
$ set file.jpg
$ jhead -v $@|grep -i thumb
        ThumbnailOffset = 2548
        ThumbnailLength = 7319
Thumbnail size: 7319 bytes
$ exif $@|tail -n 1
EXIF data contains a thumbnail (7319 bytes).
