Package: imagemagick
Version: 8:6.8.9.9-2
Severity: normal

Hi,

the desktop file

/usr/share/applications/display-im6.desktop

in the imagemagick binary package contains an Icon key but the value
is incorrect.

The line should read

Icon=display-im6.q16

instead of

Icon=display-im6.Q16

See also my old bug report

https://bugs.debian.org/765416

However I think it might be more suitable for Imagemagick to hide all
desktop files because they are currently only used to associate
the application with MIME types, so that it gets launched from a file
manager. If I click on the menu icons nothing happens currently.

To hide ImagaMagick from desktop menus you can set

NoDisplay=true

Both desktop files should be handled the same way IMO.

/usr/share/applications/display-im6.desktop
/usr/share/applications/display-im6.q16.desktop

Regards,

Markus
