[Pkg-gmagick-im-team] Bug#837778: pnm image dissolves into unsynchronised garbage when rotated 180

The following command produced an un-synchronised image:

convert 1Ay0lSAB3d-pre.pnm -rotate 180 1Ay0lSAB3d-post.pnm

Pre and post files are attached.

This is a serious problem for me, as I use gscan2pdf as my scanner
interface, and it apparently uses pnm format and imagemagick for most
operations on scanned images. The problem also occurs with other
operations, eg, crop.

It doesn't always happen. For example, rotate 90 and rotate 270 are OK, and
it doesn't always happen with crop.

It started happening only recently, I believe with 8:6.8.9.9-5+deb8u4.
