Hello, fellow package maintainers.

You are receiving this email because one or more of your packages
depends on/recommends/suggests ufraw, ufraw-batch, or gimp-ufraw.  The
packages in question are:
- geeqie
- fotoxx
- imagemagick-6.q16/imagemagick-6.q16hdri
- education-desktop-other
- multimedia-photography/multimedia-graphics

Unfortunately, ufraw seems to be unmaintained upstream, has security
issues, and may not support more recent cameras.  Therefore, as ufraw
maintainer, I would suggest using another package in place of ufraw.
Taking a quick look at other packages, rawtherapee might be a
replacement for ufraw, gimp-dcraw might be a replacement for gimp-ufraw,
and dcraw or libraw-bin might be usable as a replacement for ufraw-batch
(though any scripts that use ufraw-batch might need to be adapted to use
those).

I will likely not maintain ufraw past buster (and if all its rdepends no
longer depend on it, I may even ask for its removal for buster).  If any
of you would like to maintain it, please let me know, though I would
recommend not taking it on unless you also wish to be the upstream
maintainer.
