[Pkg-gmagick-im-team] Imagemagick binaries package contains no binaries, how does one install them these days?

This seems quite odd to me: the imagemagick package claims to contain the
imagemagick binaries, but in fact it contains nothing but copyright info.
The 'convert' binary does exist on my system, but no package owns it; and
information on imagemagick.org suggests using the 'magick' binary, which
does not seem to exist at all, anywhere.

I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the package, among other things.
No dice, details here:

So how *does* one install the imagemagick binaries these days?

Obviously, I could clone the git repo and build them myself, but that
becomes brittle after a few rounds of OS upgrades, so it's not really an
optimal solution for a production environment. Surely there's a better way?
