[Pkg-gnome-extras-maintainers] Bug#1131557: GeForce Driver 595.xx.yy maybe the issue

Dear maintainers,

I have the same error here, running Linux kernel version 6.19.8

   $> name -a
   Linux djlnb 6.19.8+deb14-amd64 #1 SMP PREEMPT_DYNAMIC
   Debian 6.19.8-1 (2026-03-15) x86_64 GNU/Linux

and the open-source MIT/GPL GeForce driver version 595.58.03

   $> glxinfo | grep version
   server glx version string: 1.4
   client glx version string: 1.4

   OpenGL core profile version string: 4.6.0 NVIDIA 595.58.03
   OpenGL core profile shading language version string: 4.60 NVIDIA

WORK-AROUND

Downgrading to the previous Nvidia GeForce driver version 580.142 works 
for me.  I assume it is something with new graphics features in the 
Linux kernel 6.19 related to the upcoming Nova driver.  GeForce version 
595.58.03 has a poor performance here.  It feels like a migration version.
