Package: nautilus
Version: 2.2.4-4.1
Severity: normal

I turned on the tree view in the left hand pane and noticed a short
time later that my gnome-panel CPU monitor showed very high system CPU
use. Checking with top the fam daemon was using 82% system CPU.
Closing the nautilus tree view caused the CPU use to drop back to
normal.

This is a problem on a laptop as it shortens the battery life.
