hi :)

i can't focus the panel anymore, which is annoying
for the mini commander applet.
i suspect metacity as it was upgraded lately.

now there seems to be no possibility to focus any applet on the panel
(top panel, converted from a 2.2 menu panel), neigher using
the mouse nor the keyboard.
(i have focus follows mouse option enabled)

the panel used:
ii  gnome-panel    2.4.1-4        Launch and/or dock GNOME 2 applications
