Scrollkeeper is not a huge depends, in a pbuilder (base without anything
else installed) :
The following NEW packages will be installed:
  docbook-xml libscrollkeeper0 libxml2 libxslt1 scrollkeeper sgml-base
  sgml-data symlinks


So no depends at all on Gnome ....
