Package: nautilus
Version: 2.4.1-3
Severity: normal
I have a two-headed display, using Xinerama (using the NVidia binary
X server). Since GNOME 2.4, I think, Nautilus just shows a standard
greyish background (presumably this is from the gtk+ theme that I have).
Setting the background image seems to have no effect. Right-clicking on
this background doesn't produce the expected Nautilus menu. xwininfo says
that this background is Desktop (and it even seems to have a vertical
scrollbar).
This may be connected with the bug#209149, which I'm also seeing.
(I suggest the connection because the sawfish problems seemed to me
to appear as GNOME was being upgraded, and not at a time when sawfish
was changing, so I'm guessing that the sawfish bug might have been
triggered by a change in the way that nautilus (or whatever) draws
the desktop.)
