No, nautilus should not keep gconf keys in user configuration when
removed as you can see with these keys set gnome-settings-daemon still
think that nautilus is installed and try to set the background with
nautilus and of course this doesn't work.

Solution : remove the gconf keys when the nautilus package is removed.
