I've just uploaded the GNOME 2 branch of gLabels v1.92.3 into Debian
unstable and I haven't been able to reproduce your bug. It seems like
the file format has changed since you filed this bug. Feel free to
resubmit a newer bug report if you can reproduce this with 1.99.x
