Bug#241390: (no subject)

Unfortunately it does not seem to work that way.

I was faced with "Your preferred session type GDM_Failsafe.GNOME. desktop
is not installed on this machine.  Do you wish to make GNOME the default
for future sessions.  Just Log In OR Make Default"

I choose the "Make Default" but then was back with a default GNOME and no
fvwm.

Subsequently, I unloaded gdm from my system and now run "startx"
manually, but still do not get fvwm from my .xsession file.

Please advise.  Thanks,
