Package: gnome-panel
Severity: wishlist

I'd like to suggest implementing a feature to allow users to modify the
priority of a running through the tasklist interface.

Contextual menu would have a submenu called 'Priority' or something
similar with all the possible priority levels. When selected, tasklist
should
call nice(1) to do the job.

If the command requires root priviledges, using xsu to obtain them would be
a nice way to deal it. Look for xsu packages in Sid.

Regards,

Coin,

The windowlist is not used to manage process.
The GNOME authors decided not to implement this idea.

Closing this old bug.
