Version: 2.5.2-3
Severity: normal

libgtop2-2 has some of the same files as libgtop2 (e.g.
/usr/share/info/libgtop2.info.gz), and so it should have a Conflicts:
line.

Sorry, but this cannot be fixed other way than forcing its
  installation with dpkg[1].

The problem arises as 2.5.2-1 package hadn't name changed, replacing
old libgtop2 package. As from new versions libgtop2 provides soname
info, which it didn't before, we have changed the package name. But
adding a Conflicts line will make that you can't have old libgtop2
package installed along with this one, what can make some old apps to
  break.

As this don't happen with package in unstable, it's only a problem
that early experimental GNOME 2.6 adopters will see.

  Sorry for any inconvenience.
