I'm not sure this is a serious issue, the only one problem is that gedit
2.4 is broken, BTW it should be fixed yes

We should perhaps point that Gnome2.6 has major improvements on some
points like the network shares' browsing that has totally broken on
nautilus 2.4 (lot of problems, need to enter the login/pass on each
action, ...).
