There are no steps how to reproduce, no backtrace, no info whatsoever,
where it crashes and why.=20
Please give us more specific info on your problem, as the package in
general works ok for us (on i386).
Regarding that you use the ppc version, maybe the is some hidden bug
which doesn't show up on i386, but still we need more input to fix this.
