Package: balsa
Version: 1.2.4

The Balsa Mail Client freezes when clicking on the compose button, if:
- a mail box folder is selected
- and this folder is empty and/or it is the in-box folder

Step to reproduce the bug:
1. Click on the in-box folder
2. Click on the compose button.
Balsa now should not respond to user input or TERM signals.

system spec:
kernel version: 2.4.18
libc6 version: 2.2.5-6
Debian version: 3.0 (woody)

Hi Nicovogel,

There's no way I can fix this bug as:

1) It's in stable and only security/critical fixes are allowed.
2) Balsa 1.2 is unmaintained upstream.
3) I only took over maintaining Balsa during the 2.x branch that's
currently in testing and unstable.

Sorry,
Andrew "Netsnipe" Lau
