In 2.6, the MIME info is provided by 'shared-mime-info'. Without it,
GnomeVFS assumes all files to be application/octet-stream and things
break horribly.
Also, I'm not sure whether GnomeVFS in 2.6 uses 'gnome-mime-data' at all.
It is possible that this dependency should be dropped altogether.
