Package: gdm
Version: 2.2.5.5-2
Severity: grave
Justification: renders package unusable
I've tried this on both my powerpc and ia32 machines, both running
Debian 3.0/woody, mounting NFS off of an ia32 machine running Debian
2.2r6/potato (with the kernel-nfs-server package). I can't login
through GDM when my home directory is mounted off the NFS server;
however, when I have my home directory local I can login through GDM
just fine. I have tried turning off the root_squash option in the
/etc/exports option on the fileserver with no change in behavior.

There were problems in the woody version that would cause this, which have =
been
fixed by 2.4.4.7-1 so I'm closing this bug.
