Package: gnome-games
Version: 1:2.4.3-3
Severity: minor
Tags: patch, upstream

The Gataxx help file /usr/hare/gnome/help/gataxx/C/gataxx.xml lacks
the extension part of the fileref attribute of the imagedata element,
resulting in broken image links.

I found that adding the missing ".png":s and restarting the Gnome help
browser would fix this.

As this is a trivial mechanical search and replace, and the computer
where I installed this doesn't have a network connection, I won't
bother with an actual patch against what is probably an outdated
version anyway. This was installed from the Sarge beta3 i386 ISO
image.

The part of help which isn't in and of itself entirely useless is the
part which explains the rules of the game, but it refers to the image
extensively, and so without this fix the online help is completely a
waste of disk space. (Pardon the attitude. Why oh why does Gnome help
have to emulate the uselessness of Windows online help so closely?)

I have not audited other help files for the same problem. Perhaps it's
broken in other components as well.
