Hi, 

I don't know about you, but I am running gnome-terminal 2.6.x under KDE.
After upgrading to gnome-terminal 2.6.x from 2.4.x I too found that the
Open Link feature broke. Very annoying, because it is normally so
useful!

Anyway, I noticed that the Copy Link Address also wasn't working. So I 
set the Klipper options to Force synchronisation between the selection 
and the clipboad. And now it Copy Link Address works, when I paste into 
a browser window with the middle button.

This is a fiddle, so I setup pine to launch firefox directly.

Anyway, I'm wondering if somehow the gnome-terminal upgrade to 2.4.x 
changed the selection / clipboard behaviour.
