Package: gconf2
Version: 2.6.3-1
Severity: normal
Hi,
I have set galeon as the browser in "Preferred Application" of the
control center.
But when I click an url in balsa, it opens always epiphany, regardless this
setting. If I right click the url I got a choice for an editor.
Using the gconf editor, I have had a look at what is set as the browser in:
Application -> Desktop preferences -> System tools -> Gconf Configuration
editor
Then desktop -> gnome -> applications -> browsers
There I've found a key with: "exec sensible browser"
Trying to edit this key switched it from "text" to "boolean" type.
If this key is used by gnome_show_url() this can explain why I cannot get the
right browser.
Maybe this bug should be merged with the one I've opened against
gnome-control-center: Bug#264376
