Bug#266883: libgtkhtml2-0: Copy-paste with non-ASCII characters is broken

Package: libgtkhtml2-0
Version: 2.4.1-1
Severity: normal

When I copy text containing non-ASCII characters from an application
using libgtkhtml2-0 (Liferea), I get additional characters when
pasting anywhere else (e.g. in xterm or emacs). I think that
libgtkhtml2-0 mixes up the number of bytes in a UTF-8 encoded string
and the number of characters.
