The file chooser dialog is causing trouble with one of my packages
(kino) lately. Calls like gtk_file_chooser_set_filename(chooser,
"/home/foo/") result in a file chooser dialog showing the contents of
/home, while according to the gtk docs, the trailing slash should ought
to make sure that the contents of directory /home/foo are displayed.
I've tried to work around it using strings like "/home/foo/." or
"/home/foo/./", but to no avail. Oh, and the selected directory is
displayed twice in the chooser. *checks changelog* Okay, so I'm not
going to file this as a new bug, as it looks like this is #249057, and
the issues not yet fixed in 2.4.4.
