Bug#268343: Does not understand "search" option in resolv.conf

The "domain" option in /etc/resolv.conf is superseded by the "search"
option and, accordingly, lot of administrators and programs (such as
DHCP client programs) use "search".

I begin with this /etc/resolv.conf:

nameserver 194.159.73.137
search foo.bar baz.goo

None of these domain names appears in the
Network Settings|General|Domain name field.  After changing this
field to 'garg.com', I have this in /etc/resolv.conf:

nameserver 194.159.73.137
search foo.bar baz.goo
domain garg.com

Unfortunately, as mentioned in resolv.conf(5)

    The domain and search keywords are mutually exclusive.  If more
    than one instance of these keywords is present, the last
    instance wins.

I'd say that the program should know about the 'search' option and
handle it properly.
