I've taken a closer look.
With 2.6.2-2, there is still a schema related warning, but a different one:
Unpacking gnome-games (from .../gnome-games_1%3a2.6.2-2_i386.deb) ...
Setting up gnome-games (2.6.2-2) ...
WARNING: Failed to parse default value `[?????,?????,????,??????,????,?????] ' for schema (/schemas/apps/gtali/PlayerNames)
WARNING: Failed to parse default value `[?????,?????,????,??????,????,?????] ' for schema (/schemas/apps/gtali/PlayerNames)
2.6.2's intltool-merge is recent enough not to stip the list type default
values ("[val1, val2]") in producing gtali.schemas from gtali.schemas.in.
The remaining warning is due to a typo in po/pa.po, which is fixed in CVS:
http://cvs.gnome.org/viewcvs/gnome-games/po/pa.po?r1=1.1.2.2&r2=1.1.2.3&only_with_tag=gnome-2-6&diff_format=u
