Package: gnome-session
Version: 2.0.9-3
Severity: important

Session programs are always saved with the result of following symlinks
resulting in strange behavior. For example
/home/kris is symlinked to /disks/merrimack1/users/kris.

For example in a simple gnome-terminal:

Executing the command 'pwd' in the shell reports /home/kris,
while executing gnome-session-save will leave /disks/merrimack1/users/kris
in the currentDirectory field of the .gnome2/session file.
