Package: gnome-desktop
Severity: normal

I am unable to assess what package is responsible for this problem, or
its seriousness. It may be merely cosmetic.

I basically track testing. My latest upgrade, which included lots of
Gnome stuff, produced many errors like
** (process:21643): CRITICAL **: file eggdesktopentries.c: line 2223 (egg_desktop_entries_add_group): assertion `egg_desktop_entries_lookup_group (entries, group_name) == NULL' failed

I got 3 of these after each of

Setting up bug-buddy (2.8.0-2) ...
Setting up eog (2.8.1-1.1) ...
Setting up gnome-gv (2.8.0-1) ...
Setting up gnome-terminal (2.8.0-2) ...
Setting up grip (3.2.0-3) ...

Each group had its own process number. Otherwise the messages were
the same.

But none after Setting up gnome-session (2.8.1-3) ...
