Bug#284459: nautilus: Cannot resize desktop window

I don't understand your 2 bugs about this. You have two options: having
nautilus managing the destkop or not. If it manages the desktop it sets
the background defined in the background capplet, if you don't want to
get nautilus on the desktop just turn the options.

What are you expecting to get changed in the current behaviour exactly ?
