Hints allow the menu system to organise big menus more efficiently. I've
added the hint 'Display Manager' to the gdm menufile which puts the 4
gdm entries under Apps -> System -> Display Manager on my hints-enabled
system, clearing up the massive Apps -> System menu. Other DM's could be
filed under here too (with appropriate hints - bugs/patches forthcoming)
