Bug#284936: gnome-media: gnome-sound-recorder does not save recordings to file

Using a SoundBlaster Live! with alsa 1.0.7-1, and after adjusting the
appropriate sound channels with alsamixer, I am able to successfully
record and playback sounds.

However, despite repeateed attempts to use the Save or Save As feature,
and although the dialog for selecting a directory path and setting the
name of file appears to work without problem, no file is saved.
