For quite a while already, gtk+-2.4.14 has been released. This release
contains a number of important bug-fixes and some very noticeable
speedups in GtkUIManager and GtkFileChooser. Please update the Debian
package.

There's also GTK+ 2.6.0 released as of today but you'd already make
me very happy if you could at least update to 2.4.14 any time soon...
