Package: libgnomedb2-common
Version: 1.0.4-8
Severity: normal
File: /usr/bin/gnome-database-properties

Configuring a new data source with gnome-database-properties leads up
 to a dialog which reads:

The following fields represent the information needed by the
provider you selected in the previous page to open a given
connection. This information is provider-specific, so check the
     manual for more information

     URI:

The buttons on that dialog are very HIGgy: [x Cancel] [<- Back] [Forward ->]
 but no "[HELP!]" there.

Since the package is libgnomedb2-common I checked libgnomedb2-doc, but
 alas, that's a programmer's manual. The gda2 one perhaps?

$ apt-cache search gda2
...
gda2-sqlite - SQLite backend plugin for GNOME Data Access library for GNOME2
...
libgda2-doc - Documentation files for GNOME Data Access library for GNOME2
...

libgda2-doc isn't what I'm looking for. gda2-sqlite perhaps, which is
the provider I'm using? No, no documentation there either.

And yes, this is a bug in gnome-database-properties for telling me to
RTFM but not telling me which FM. So, yes, I'll R, just tell me which
 one TFM it is...

 Marcelo

PS: I guessed it wanted a filename ... I kind of doubt that it will
work with an HTTP URI, but I didn't try that.
