None of them works with me ;-)

I tried the following
gst-launch-0.8 gnomevfssrc location=http://205.188.234.4:8024 ! spider ! 
volume ! audioscale ! audioconvert ! $(gconftool-2 -g 
/system/gstreamer/0.8/default/audiosink)

I can telnet to that IP address and port so I assume the stream should work

This is the output

I get the same with some other IP addresses to which I can telnet
