Package: gnome-session
Version: 2.6.2-2
Severity: important
gnome-session.postinst contains the line
kill -HUP `pidof gconfd-2`
which fails (and, thanks to -e, makes the whole script fail) if there
aren't actually any gconfd-2 processes running; please add "|| true".
[I'm Cc:ing debhelper's developer(s?) because the postinst claims the
relevant code came from dh_gconf; however, I see no indication that
the problematic command actually came from a released version of
debhelper. 4.2.12's postinst-gconf certainly has no kill commands at
all, and neither do the 40+ other dh_gconf postinsts on my system.]
