I am (mouse-) left-handed. My mouse is physically placed on the left
side of my keyboard. Yet I have to wait till my session starts to get my
mouse buttons swapped. To shut down, I have to use the wrong buttons.

gdm should handle all mouse buttons equal, as it cannot yet know about
the users preferences.

(Perhaps there is some obscure X option to switch buttons. But on the
one hand, I didn't find any; on the other, that would be bad for the
people on my machine who first put the mouse on the other side.)
