Under the traditional Chinese locale (zh_TW.Big5), I cannot input any
Chinese characters with xcin. dia seems to eat up the Ctrl+Space key
sequence that is required for xcin to open the XIM editor for inputting
Chinese.

Note that dia seems to pass Shift+Space to the XIM editor. While
Shift+Space is the de-facto key sequence to open the XIM editor for
Japanese, in Chinese the de-facto standard key sequence is Ctrl+Space;
Shift+Space also opens the xcin window, but only to input "full width
ASCII characters".
