Debian Menu files should be in ~/.menu/ directory and installed by
yourself or by those installers. update-menus must then be run.
~/.gnome is old GNOME 1 stuff, and ~/.local is AFAIK freedesktop
unrelated things. update-menus manpage is clear on PATHs used to create
the menu, and none of ~/.gnome or ~/.local is used.

if you think they are well installed, so send me one of the non-working
menu file, so that i can investigate.

BTW, Debian Menu is gona disappear one day, so you should think about
using .desktop files documented by freedesktop.
