I did run memprof and intended to run valgrind, but I need to read
a bit more about memory debuging.
What I think 'till now is that the problem is not in gnome-cups-icon
but probably on libgnomecups. gnome-cups-icon does not have a function
that runs from time to time, and as you can observe on gnome-system-monitor,
the increase in memory usage has a "static" period, although the
memory usage seems to increase dramaticaly when you run openoffice...
I cannot be too sure about this last piece of information, but it
seemed to happen two days ago. I do not run openoffice very frequently.
